Efforts by the Provincial Integrated Team to address lawlessness in Paarl East led to the arrest of a 47 year old man on the night of 14 September 2020. The members conducted a crime operation and searched a residence in Fairland Street, Siyahlala. The suspect was found in possession of an unlicensed 7.65 pistol and ammunition, and detained

In Ampstelhoh, Paarl East members of the same unit arrested a 26-year-old man early on the morning of 15 September 2020, who was caught in possession of dagga valued at around R8000-00 and 36 rounds of R5 ammunition, when his residence was searched.

Once charged, the two suspects are scheduled to make their court appearances in Paarl to face the charges against them.
