The vigilance of members attached to the Western Cape Flying Squad landed five suspects behind bars for being in possession of a stolen motor vehicle in Steenberg last night, 8 September 2018.
The members were on patrol in Military Road when their attention were drawn to five suspicious looking male persons in a sliver VW Kombi. They were pulled over and it was established that the vehicle had been stolen in Ocean View earlier this month.
The suspects aged between 17 and 28 are expected to make a court appearance in Wynberg once they have been charged. We are also looking into their involvement in other serious crimes.
