An intelligence driven operation to rid the Worcester community of illegal firearms and ensure the safety of the community was conducted at Songhe Avenue in Worcester.
The operation yielded success and various firearms were confiscated. Five pistols and a 303 rifle, 12 empty magazines, and 202 rounds of ammunition were seized.
Two suspects, aged 31 and 37 years old, were arrested and, once they are charged, they will appear in the Worcester Magistrates’ Court on charges related to the illegal possession of firearms and ammunition.
