A farm attack took place on Monday morning, 30 September 2019, at 03:45, on the farm Botterkloof, in Malmesbury, Western cape province. A farmer was attacked in his home by two assailants who threatened him with knives. In self defence the farmer opened fire on the attackers killing one. The other attacker fled. The police are now investigating a case of murder against the farmer.
