A farm attack took place on 28 september 2019, in Spitskop, Bredasdorp, Western Cape province. The attack took place on a farm between Swellendam and Bredasdorp in the early evening. Burry van Papendorp was severely assaulted by an unknown number of attackers and has been taken to hospital. His bakkie was robbed during the attack.
The bakkie was later recovered in Kathoek where the attackers fled on foot into the bushes. There is no other information available at this stage.
