A farm attack took place on Monday 11 July 2022, on a farm situated on Hercules Pilaar road in Klapmuts, in the Western Cape province of South Africa.

Five black attackers entered the home of the 64 year old farmer, his 49 year old wife and 15 year old son and demanded money and guns.

The balaclava clad attackers hit the farmer over the head with a crowbar and tied up all three members of the family.

One attacker had a gun, another a knife and the third one was armed with a crowbar.

The attackers fled the scene with various items like laptops, cellphones and wallets.

After the attackers left, the woman managed to untie herself and the Police and Farm Watch were notified.

They launched a search for the suspects but were not successful in finding them.

The Police are investigating a case of house robbery.
