A farm attack took place on 26 July 2020, at 20:00, on a farm in Wemmershoek, near Paarl, in the Western Cape province of South Africa. Four balaclava clad attackers gained entry to the farmhouse, assaulted and robbed the family. The victims were then all tied up and the home ransacked.
The attackers attempted to steal the families vehicle but could not get the gate open and then fled on foot. The victims managed to cut themselves loose and sound the alarm after which a number of role players responded, but there were no arrests.
There is no other information available at this stage. Police are investigating the attack.
