On Thursday, October 6, a family were robbed by three black males who gained entry into their residence on a farm in the Zevenwacht Kuilsrivier area, Western Cape.
The family were tied up and robbed at their home in Zevenwacht Kuilsriver during the early morning hours.
Bassett Central received a panic activation from a home in Zevenwacht Kuilsriver around 02H10 and dispatched Armed Response officer Muller to investigate. The officer arrived at 02H14 and spoke to the homeowner.
The owner informed the officer that three African men entered their home, tied him and his family up and then robbed them. Several household items were stolen.
The officer informed Kuilsriver SAPS members and then started to search for the suspects. Officer Muller managed to find the route the suspects escaped in after he noticed several items lying in nearby bushes.
Kuilsriver SAPS members arrived shortly afterwards with the K9 Dog Unit. The K9 unit managed to track the suspects for a while before loosing their scent near De Kelders.
The investigation continues.
