In their efforts to eliminate the presence of drugs and illegal firearms in our communities, the members of Harare SAPS in conjunction with Public Order Police (POPS) made a recovery of drugs and ammunition. On Friday 25 October 2019, at about 23:05, the SAPS members followed up on information provided by the members of the community of alleged drug activities at a premises in Endlovini informal settlement, Harare in Khayelitsha.

Upon arrival at the premises members entered and conducted a search and discovered 39 full mandrax tablets, 11 half mandrax tablets, one quarter mandrax tablet, 12 dagga cigarettes, eight packets of tik, 38 rounds of ammunition and a substantial amount of cash.

Once charged a 22 year old male suspect, who was arrested, will appear in Khayelitsha Magistrate’s Court on the charge of dealing in drugs as well as illegal possession of ammunition.
