On Friday, 9 November 2018, at about 21:30 SAPS members responded to complaint of domestic violence. Upon arrival, the suspect’s sister mentioned that he threatened her with a firearm at their residence in Zeekoevlei.
She managed to take the firearm from him, and she immediately handed it over to the members when they arrived on the scene. Upon further searching of the premises, two more firearms were found and handed in as exhibits at Grassy Park SAPS.
