Members of the Delft Crime Prevention Unit executed a search warrant at a premises in Mazoe Court on Saturday, resulting in the seizure of a large quantity of mandrax tablets and the arrest of a 19-year-old female.
According to police reports, the operation took place at approximately 13:30 on Saturday, 14 February 2026. During the search of the premises, officers discovered a plastic bag concealed under the wash basin in the bathroom. The bag was found to contain a total of 995 mandrax tablets.
The 19-year-old female occupant was subsequently arrested for the possession of mandrax tablets. She is scheduled to appear in the Bellville Magistrates’ Court on Monday to face the charge.
