In the quest to deal with the generators of serious violent crimes, Operation Lockdown’s National Intervention Team executed an operation in Kalkfontein, Kuilsriver on Sunday morning, 23 February 2020.
As a consequence, the team seized just over a 100 Mandrax tablets and a substantial amount of money. A 15-year-old suspect was arrested and is expected in court on Monday, 24 February 2020 on charges of dealing in drugs.
Meanwhile the same team pounced on another residence in Tyunie Crescent, Delft a few hours later where they arrested a 31-year-old man for being in possession of 178 Mandrax tablets and cash. He has been charged for dealing in drugs and will appear in the Blue Downs Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 24 February 2020.
The unrelenting efforts of forces on the ground are applauded as they strive toward the creation of safety among communities.
