Members of the Anti Corruption Unit arrested a 58 year old policeman stationed at Muizenberg on the night of 16 October 2019, and he is expected to appear in the Muizenberg Magistrate’s Court.
The members acted on a tip-off and arrested the member for alleged corruption after he was handed dagga that was to be handed to a prisoner, for which the member was allegedly paid R200.
The member will appear in court on Friday 18 October 2019.
