At least 8 alleged criminals were arrested.

A few culprits received emergency care by the volunteer EFAR (emergency first aid responders) of the DFW as well as the ALS ( advanced life support ) medic.

The treated patients were loaded into ambulances and transported to hospital with police escort and alleged 2 were declared dead at the scene and 1 was critical at the time he was loaded into an ambulance.

Paarl police took care of the scene and made sure the scene was secure for the EFAR medics to perform their task and paarl traffic officers took care of traffic. Fidelity Adt officers assisted with keeping the public away from the crime scene.

The emergency response and the cooperation with the various authorities worked perfect.

We thank the Paarl police for guarding over us.
