On Thursday 7 March 2019, information was received and followed up about alleged irregularities at premises in Great Kei Road, Happy Valley, Mfuleni.
An operation comprising of members from Crime Intelligence, Stikland VISS and Flying Squad yielded success and the following vehicles were recovered on the scene:
White Kia Truck, stolen in Ocean View in August 2018.
Blue Mazda Rustler, hijacked in Cape Town Central in August 2018.
Blue Polo Playa chassis number tampered with.
White Trailer chassis tampered with.
These vehicles were booked in as exhibits at Stikland vehicle storage. No arrest were made and the investigation continues.
