Police Minister Bheki Cele to declare serious pronouncements in relation to the ongoing Taxi Violence in the Western Cape.

Minister of Police Bheki Cele to make serious pronouncements in Cape Town on Sunday, 24 June 2018 this follows the Delft incident, which claimed 13 lives around Cape Town. The continuous violence, of shooting and killing innocent commuters in the province between the two rival taxi associations Cata and Codeta.

This never ending reckless conflict between taxi associations will not be tolerated further by government.

Safety of commuters is paramount and it is our responsibility as the police to uphold this constitutional right and to protect South Africans.
