Cambridge police arrested three suspects for possession of drugs, possession of suspected stolen goods, confiscated nineteen knives during stop and search, searched fifty vehicles for transportation of drugs, stolen goods closed shebeens in their initiative to tackle crime during operation Fiela II in their policing precincts today.

Police in Cambridge arrested two suspects, 25 and 29 years old for possession of drugs and another suspect (31) was arrested for possession of suspected stolen goods. They continued with stop and searches in and around the area and confiscated nineteen knives. They visited liquor outlets to check for compliance with their liquor licenses.

Police confiscated large quantities of liquor from the shebeens.

The suspects are due to appear in Court soon on charges of possession of drugs, possession of possible stolen goods and selling liquor without a liquor license.
