To ensure the safety of the community, members of the Provincial Integrated Team reacted to information that a suspect is in possession of a firearm and drugs in the informal settlement, Covid 19 in Kraaifontein on the night of 18 April 2021.
The identified shack was approached and searched, which led to the discovery of a prohibited revolver, three rounds of ammunition and 53 packets of tik.
The 24-year-old man was detained and is scheduled to make a court appearance in Blue Downs once he has been formally charged.
