One person died and eight were injured when armed gangs attacked commuters on a Cape train and robbed them of their possessions.
Some of the commuters were thrown out of the train and seriously injured.
Prasa is “shocked” about the events, but more violence and vandalism occur especially on Cape Trains without the appearance of any progress in addressing it.
