Members attached to Anti Gang Unit followed up on information they received about unlicensed firearms at an address in Bishop Lavis on 23 March 2019. The dedicated members arrived at the address in Drakenstein Circle and upon searching the premises they discovered a firearm and an assortment of ammunition.
A 33 year old man was arrested for possession of firearm and ammunition. He will appear in the Bishop Lavis Magistrates’ Court once he has been charged.
