Members descended to a house in Wakefield Street, Connaught Estate, Ravensmead where upon searching the premises they seized a 9mm pistol without a serial number filed off, 13 rounds of ammunition and a magazine. They arrested a female suspect aged 31 for the possession of a prohibited firearm and ammunition.

Further information was followed up and the members arrived at Benrose Court, Connaught Estate and seized three 9mm magazines and 25 rounds of ammunition. In this incident they arrested a 39 year old male suspect for illegal possession of ammunition.
