The Anti Gang Unit members are making progress in Cape Town, in their pursuit to disarm gangsters. on the night of 26 July 2019, the members operationalized information regarding the possession of a firearm in Kensington which led them to 3rd Avenue where a 35 year old suspect was arrested with a prohibited 9mm pistol, six rounds of ammunition and an assortment of drugs.
The suspect will remain in custody until his court appearance in Cape Town on Monday 29 July 2019, where he will face charges for the possession of a prohibited firearm and drugs.
