Anti gang unit arrest drug dealer, Bishop Lavis

A joint intelligence driven operation conducted by members from the Anti Gang Unit and Crime Intelligence in the Bishop Lavis precinct led to the arrest of a 45 year old male suspect on 22 November 2019, at about 10:30 in Valhalla Park, Bishop Lavis.

The members were following up on information when they searched the premises at the mentioned address and found various kinds of drugs comprising 80 half mandrax tablets, 13 sachets of Unga, 21 sachets of tik, 4.68 grams of tik, 20 dagga cigarettes and an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect was arrested for dealing in drugs and is expected to appear in the Bishop Lavis Magistrates Court on Monday, 25 November 2019, on the mentioned charge.
