In the early hours of 10 September 2019, three trucks were petrol bombed and burnt out. This time the attacks took place in Moorreesburg, Porterville and Piekenierskloof Pass. And at 22:00 on the night of 9 September 2019, on the N2 near Somerset West a truck was also set alight. In one incident the truck driver was seriously injured.
The injured truck driver has been admitted to Piketberg hospital. The police are investigating the attacks.
