Western Cape Provincial Commissioner, Lt General Khombinkosi Jula joined the Mitchells Plain Cluster’s Safer Festive Season operations that saw the arrest of two suspects, the recovery of a 9mm pistol, ammunition and a magazine in a roadblock along AZ Berman.
Flying Squad and Mounted Unit members maintained a visible presence around the busy Promenade Mall.
Lt General Jula and Mitchells Plain Cluster management later interacted with shoppers inside the mall. Cluster Commander, Major General Gregory Goss, Deputy Cluster Commander, Brigadier Mmagauta Letsoalo and Station Commander, Brigadier Cas Goolam were in attendance.
