A public meeting to discuss options for a new name for Cape Town international Airport ended in chaos last night.

Khoisan representatives threatened with “war” unless the airport be named after Krotoa or Saartjie Baartman. The EFF responded by demanding that the airport be named after Winnie Mandela.

The two groups ended up by dancing and screaming insults and the meeting was called off before security guards were called in to secure the safety of other attendees.

There we have it once more: No public debate or civilised process of discussion happens in South Africa any more.

FN says again: We have nothing in common with groups who debate through threats and demands and public display of uncivilised behaviour. We don’t dance and scream with the EFF. We don’t dance and scream with the Khoisan. And we flatly refuse to be ruled by either.

Therefore we re-emphasize the dire need for showing our support to create a state of self determination.

Last night showed again- our differences are simply irreconcilable!
