Members attached to Anti-Gang Unit and Hermanus SAPS followed up on information received and searched a premises in Eziphunzana Street, Zwelihle, Hermanus on 16 February 2022, in search of stolen property and firearms.
While searching the premises they found stolen property and an unlicensed firearm on the premises. Five males aged between 21 and 41 were arrested and detained.
Once charged the suspects will appear in the Hermanus Magistrates court on possession of an unlicensed firearm and possession of stolen property charges.
