In the fight against drugs, police members continue with their mandate to root out the illegal trade thereof in the Western Cape.
Police members attached to the Anti-Gang Unit deployed in the Western Cape to quell the ongoing gang violence, conducted an intelligence driven operation on Wednesday, 10 May 2023.
The members proceeded to an address in Voortrekker Road in Goodwood at around 15:00 and searched the premises.
Their efforts were rewarded when they confiscated a consignment of drugs with an estimated street value of R75 000-00 and arrested and detained a male, aged 34, on a charge of possession of drugs.
Once charged the suspect is expected to make a court appearance in the Goodwood Magistrate’s Court on the mentioned charge.
