The circumstances surrounding an attack on two City Law Enforcement officers are under investigation after they were shot and wounded by unknown armed suspects on the afternoon of 4 September 2019, at around 13:45 in Sweet Home Farm in Philippi.
The officers, aged 54 and 49, were also possibly robbed of their service pistols. They were performing duty at the time of the attack and were sitting in their marked Law enforcement vehicle. The suspects fled and are yet to be arrested.
