UNPO will investigate ANC injustices

The International Organization for the Protection of Minorities, UNPO (Unrepresented Nations and Peoples Organization) accepted a motion from the FF Plus to investigate among other things abuses of the ANC government over a broad spectrum, as well as the atrocities against farm farmers in South Africa.

The decision followed a motion that Dr. Pieter Groenewald, leader of the FF Plus, submitted to UNPO’s thirteenth general meeting in Edinburgh, Scotland.

The proposal included the demolition of the country’s economy, corruption, abuse of power, the marginalization of minority groups, racial polarization and the fate of the farming community in South Africa.

The motion took note of public statements of Pres. Jacob Zuma and other government leaders who demonize the Afrikaner minority and that he and other government leaders blame the Afrikaner minority group for the current economic unrest, unemployment, and poverty.

The motion also mentions the continued pursuit of government to legalize land expropriation, and points to the more than 2 393 farm murders and 14 589 farm attacks that took place since 1991 and the brutal and violent nature of these farm attacks and murders.

UNPO’s General Assembly insisted that the South African government should comply with the Bill of Rights of South Africa, promote the promotion of social unity, minority groups’ language and culture rights, addressing farm attacks to a priority crime and taking effective action to stop it. To request the United Nations Human Rights Commission to conduct a full investigation to put pressure on the South African government to end these atrocities.

Dr. Groenewald was also elected to Unpo presidency instead of Dr. Pieter Mulder who served in the presidency for several years.
