9.6 million people are unemployed, 6.1 million young people between the ages of 15 and 34 are unemployed and 90 000 jobs have been lost in the second quarter of 2018.
This is the situation in the country in which Cyril Ramaphosa says there are no problems, and where he announced in February this year that a debate will be held on unemployment. The summit will now be held next week.
