Two men were shot and killed in the parking lot of at Montclair Shoprite in Durban on Saturday afternoon, KwaZulu Natal police have confirmed.
“The two victims, aged 50 and 59, had been walking to their vehicle when they were shot at about 15:15,” provincial police spokesperson Major Thulani Zwane told News24.
“Both died at the scene and the motive for the attack has not yet been determined.”
Zwane said it was being investigated if the duo were the intended victims or if they had been caught in crossfire.
He urged anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact the authorities.
