Three people were shot on Wednesday at the Mall of Africa during an alleged taxi violence dispute.
Reports from the scene indicate that one bystander and two people believed to be taxi bosses have been wounded during the shoot-out.
Netcare 911 spokesperson, Athlenda Mathe, who was on scene, said, “The Netcare helicopter airlifted the critically injured bystander to a Johannesburg hospital for further medical care. The two wounded taxi bosses treated on scene. They will be transported to a nearby hospital for further medical care.”
Police were also present on scene.
At least four people have been arrested on the scene.
