Friday March 13 2014 – Gerrit Venter, sales manager at Duroc Foods in Pietersburg, was seriously injured when an employee bludgeoned him over the head and face in a cruel revenge-attack with an angle iron. The firm’s senior sales manager had spoken to the employee, identified by police as Sipho Lekgoathoane, 34, about his washing his own clothes in the company’s washing machine.
The attack, described as vicious and very violent, took place at the loading zone of the food-processing company….
