The opposition is demanding that Cyril Ramaphosa should also appear before the Zondo commission to explain his involvement, or lack thereof, in the state capture saga.

‘Die Vryburger’ has said on many occasions that Cyril Ramaphosa, as deputy president under Jacob Zuma, had to have been aware of the shady negotiations that took place.

It is further reported that Ramaphosa, as chairman of the inter ministerial committee of state entities, had to be thoroughly acquainted with the boards served on SAA, Transnet, Denel, Sasol, Spoornet, Prasa, etc.. To wash his hands and those of the ANC and say that it was only Zuma’s fault is misleading.

This raises the question of how much the ANC will protect Zuma from behind so that he does not become a whistleblower.
