The Minister of Small Business Development, Lindiwe Zulu, said in a statement that radical economic transformation should not deter investors.

The downgrade of the country to junk status is not a problem, but rather a challenge for the government, as it was in 1994.

What she failed to mention, is that in 1994 South Africa was a prosperous developed country, and has collapsed into a Third World banana republic under the ANC. South Africa is seen as a struggling African country through the eyes of the world and ruled by people who do not have the ability to distinguish between right and wrong.

In response to her narrative, the emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim Bin Al Thani, rather encouraged investment in Qatar, which saw the country’s growth at 4% compared to SA’s 0.3% growth in 2016.
