Prasa has received notice from the Railway Safety Regulator that his operating permit will be withdrawn.

This follows a collision between two trains on 4 October 2018, near Kempton Park.

Meanwhile, Prasa has announced that rail transportation will continue regardless of the suspension of their safety permit.

It is only in South Africa that an entity’s safety conditions are suspended and then a court order is obtained to continue operations regardless of the danger it poses to commuters.
