South African 'Black Pride'- How can it possibly even exist?

As black leaders, businessmen and government officials continue to ‘beat their chests’ in defence of their actions and in a show of power over what they perceive to be success, one does not have to look far to see that this is a misguided perception, incorrectly interpreted as so called ‘black pride’. The saying ” Eish, she is broken!” can not be further from the truth- and it not just your lawnmower!- it’s the entire country. Unlike functional Western culture, where there is accountability and laws, in South Africa, if you get away with it then it is okay.

Like the rest of Sub Saharan Africa and more recently Zimbabwe, the evidence is all there and the mind has to boggle how the culprits are so damn proud of themselves. Massive corruption, theft and destruction is simply the way of life and is this what they are so very proud of? This, by the way, whilst blacks object to anything that colonization and advanced culture developed in South Africa before any tribes arrived.

Corruption, theft and money laundering of extreme and massive proportions is apparently all okay just so long as you can use Western technology and achievements. You drive around in your expensive upmarket cars, wearing designer suits, using all western developed technology and comforts and live in upmarket suburbs whilst the majority of the population descends into the quagmire.

I’m proud because i am a thief, I’m proud because everything i touch ends up broken or dysfunctional, I’m proud because every job that requires any amount of ability i just can’t do, I’m proud of the sewage that is running in the streets, I’m proud of our contaminated water, our catastrophic education and hospital systems, I’m proud of being world leaders with our murder and rape statistics, I’m proud of our excessively high crime rate and incompetent police service and I’m proud of our high unemployment rate . And I’m oh, so very proud, to be part of this “Rainbow Nation”, but wait… Black is not a colour of the rainbow!

I am feeling so proud of myself, now let me see what else i can steal, oh yes all your property and pensions. And then eventually when it is all used up i can settle next to my mud hut and relax. If only there was a tree left for some shade. Oh! But what are we going to eat?
