On a daily basis, three women are killed by their partners, which means that about 1,100 women are killed by their husbands every year.
South Africa is currently one of the world’s most homicidal societies with as many as 57 murders a day, and experts believe the figure may still rise due to the poor and ever declining economic conditions.
Experts say that the country has not only lost its humanity, but has also become a land with barbaric tendencies that rely on total self-destruction.
Scientists attribute this as a trend that is sometimes found where people marry too early and later want to divorce but then follow the shortest route by committing a murder. Activists claim that there is an opinion among certain cultural groups that they are more highly considered if they have killed more women.
