The missing teenager Rochelle Prins (14) was found on the morning of 10 October 2021, at a house in Van Vollenhofen Street in Danville in Pretoria.

The investigating officer, D/WO Ndoni received an anonymous tip off from a person in Pretoria about Prin’s possible whereabouts. Immediate contact was made with her aunt in Pretoria who, with the assistance of the police found her at the given address.

It is alleged that she went to visit another teenager (19) whom she befriended on social media.

She is now safe with her aunt.

The SAPS extends their gratitude to the media/social media users in assisting in tracing Ms Prins. The community are the eyes and ears of the police and any suspicious behaviour taking place in the respective neighborhoods must never be ignored instead it must be reported to the police.

The actions of the anonymous caller is appreciated.
