According to Lindiwe Sisulu, Cyril Ramaphosa has to go on his knees and ask her to become his deputy president if he wins the battle and becomes president of the ANC.
This follows after Ramaphosa earlier indicated that he would elect Naledi Pandor as deputy president.
It is not known if Ramaphosa was already on his knees or not, but the two have announced to cooperate in the leadership election at the ANC conference that begins at Nasrec in Johannesburg.
