Mob justice is a common sight in South Africa. These youths are lucky to escape with only lashings.
Some mob justice cases involve burning people alive in an act called “necklacing”. Sometimes people are wrongfully accused by the community and murdered. Here is a tragic example of innocent people that were executed by the community.
