The SA Federation of Trade Unions (SAFTU) announced through Zwelinzima Vavi that they would make the country ungovernable if government does not scrap the current national minimum wage and establish good labor legislation.

The federation, which represents about 800 000 members, took their anger out on Cyril Ramaphosa and Cosatu in the statement.

Analysts say there was not really anything strange about the words “Voetsek Ramaphosa voetsek” by Vavi during his speech outside parliament.

The strike will take place on 25 April.
