The public broadcaster, the Master’s Voice of the ANC does not criticize their ultimate boss, the president of the country, either.
A broadcaster from the SABC radio station, Lotus FM, received marching orders after he expressed his opinion, not on the air, but on his Facebook profile, about matters that bothered him.
Ravi Govender listened to Jacob Zuma’s speech at the ANC’s policy conference, and then placed the following on his Facebook page: “Just hear Zombie Zuma giving a speech on the news. Massacring the beautiful English language Uneducated creature.”
Govender said that Zuma should have spoken in Zulu with an interpreter, it would have sounded better than his English without feeling or punctuation.
