Cape Town – Many South Africans could argue and say South Africa, with its milestone 20 years of democracy, braai days, and epic public holidays, is one of the best countries to live in.
But, according to the world’s most miserable places to live in the world index, South Africa is the 8th most miserable place in the world to live.
The “Misery Index” is an economic index that determines the misery in one country, by taking in factors such as unemployment rates, political unrest and inflation rates.
