Another sad day is looming on 4 September 2021 in South Africa, at the ‘White cross monument’ (Witkruis Monument), as more crosses will be added in memory of farmers who have been brutally murdered in the country.
The monument is located on a hillside at Ysterberg, just outside Mokopane. It can be found on the road between Potgietersrus and Pietersburg, in Limpopo Province South Africa.
These attacks on South African farms are most often accompanied by extreme violence, rape and torture and is not just ordinary crime.
In many instances farmers and or their families are brutally murdered just for a cell phone or less.
The White Cross Monument is a memorial site for victims that were raped, tortured and murdered in South Africa over the past 18 years.
The monument is unique in the world as it grows annually, with more crosses being added each year.
