Vivo, South Africa – A robber with a panga was waiting for Mrs Sophia Botha of Vivo in the Limpopo province, when she arrived home. She was attacked and also lost her thumb during the attack.
The man then loaded household items into Mrs Botha’s vehicle, but couldn’t get the vehicle going.
He left on foot with her credit cards and a cell phone.
One of Mrs Botha’s employees became suspicious and contacted her son who lives 500 meters away.
Mrs Botha was admitted 2 MediClinic in Pietersburg, where an extensive operation started on Friday morning at 6.00 pm.
Neighbours and the police are busy searching for the perpetrator.
