Road carnage on SA roads has begun

Die Vryburger

More than 40 people have died in road accidents since the beginning of December. Most of them are pedestrians who do not comply with the rules for pedestrians, thereby plunging motorists in trouble.

The widespread rains in the northern provinces also contributed to more accidents.

Apparently, traffic officers were instructed to act strictly against lawlessness on the roads. It is known, however, that traffic officials can even be bought with “a cool drink” to let reckless motorists escape.
