The Public Protector, Busisiwe Mkhwebane, is postponing her legal costs account for as long as possible.
She was ordered to pay R900 000 in legal costs in her failed court battle with the Reserve Bank.
The Supreme Court ordered that she pay 15% of the Reserve Bank’s legal costs personally.
She has now appealed and is also going to appeal directly to the Constitutional Court.
