Elliotdale – A police officer was hacked to death with a panga (machete) and his attacker shot dead in Elliotdale in the Eastern Cape, police said on Thursday.
Constable Phumlani Mgoboli, 29, attended a domestic violence complaint with a colleague on Wednesday, said Brigadier Marinda Mills.
